Shield · order-flow desk

Read order flow like an institutional desk — and stop being the liquidity

Upload a DOM, footprint, delta or volume-profile capture and Shield maps the resting liquidity, names the trap being set and shows the play that stands with size instead of in front of it. A built-in order-flow bot answers every follow-up in plain language.

100% synthetic, algorithmically generated market data. Education and practice only — never real money, never real orders.

What you get

Liquidity map

Where size is resting, where it has been pulled, and which side is being fed — before you decide anything about direction.

Absorption and traps

Stop hunts, iceberg refills, spoof pulls and failed auctions, each named with the tell that gave it away.

The shield play

A six-point checklist that turns the read into a location, an invalidation and a reason — the way a desk frames risk.

Order-flow tutor

Ask about delta divergence, VWAP reversion, POC migration or auction theory and get a short, concrete answer with an example.

How it works

  1. 1Open the Shield tab in the TickForge terminal.
  2. 2Upload one or more order-flow captures.
  3. 3Read the liquidity map, the trap call and the checklist.
  4. 4Ask the bot anything you did not follow.
  5. 5Rehearse the same read on a synthetic replay session.

Frequently asked questions

What is order flow analysis?

Order flow analysis studies the actual buying and selling hitting the book — depth of market, footprint, delta and volume profile — instead of price alone. It shows where large participants are resting size, absorbing pressure or hunting stops.

What does Shield do with my order-flow screenshot?

It reads the capture in two passes: first mapping liquidity, absorption and imbalance, then naming the likely institutional intent and the shield play against it — with a checklist and confidence level. The image is never stored.

Which captures does Shield understand?

DOM ladders, footprint and cluster charts, delta and cumulative delta, volume profile and market profile, plus plain candle charts with volume.

Can I ask follow-up questions?

Yes. Shield includes an order-flow bot that answers questions about absorption, spoofing, iceberg orders, liquidity sweeps, VWAP behaviour and desk mechanics in plain language.

Is Shield giving trade signals?

No. Shield is an educational reader. It explains what the tape suggests and how desks think, but it never issues signals or investment advice.
