Market replay simulator — rehearse any session tick by tick
Pick any market, date and timeframe, then watch a synthetic session build candle by candle. Patterns are marked live, Vega explains them on the chart, and you can rerun the exact same session until the read becomes automatic.
100% synthetic, algorithmically generated market data. Education and practice only — never real money, never real orders.
What you get
Live-forming candles
Bars wick up and down until the bucket closes while older candles scroll left — the closest thing to a live tape without a live account.
Any date, any range
Replay a morning, a week or a decade-old stretch. Spot levels are anchored so far-back sessions still sit in a believable price zone.
Patterns marked as they form
Choose the patterns you're drilling and TickForge tags them the moment they complete, with a hover explanation of why they matter.
Vega, your AI coach
Ask for a head-and-shoulders and Vega forges a fresh one, draws arrows and zones on the chart and walks you through entry, stop and target logic.
How it works

- 2Choose a market, asset class and instrument from the searchable list.
- 3Set the start and end date plus the timeframe you want to drill.
- 4Press replay and watch the session build tick by tick.
- 5Tag patterns, journal the trade and ask Vega why it worked or failed.
Frequently asked questions
Is the market replay simulator free?
Yes. Create a free TickForge account and you can replay index-style sessions, mark patterns and run strategy simulations at no cost. No card and no broker account are required.
Is this real market data?
No. Every tick, candle and volume print is generated by TickForge's synthetic engine using calibrated volatility, gap and liquidity behaviour. It is designed to feel like a live index session for training, but it is not exchange data and not a historical record.
Will the same chart come back if I replay it?
Yes. The engine is deterministic: the same instrument, date range, timeframe and settings always rebuild the exact same session, so you can repeat a drill or share it with a study partner.
Which timeframes can I replay?
Tick, 1m, 3m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, daily, weekly and monthly, each following the selected market's own open and close clock.
Can I practise intraday index scalping?
Yes. Candles form tick by tick and older bars roll off the left edge, so you can rehearse entries, stops and exits under live-feeling pressure without risking money.
